Hello! It's Great to Meet You.

I'm Jenine Shaw, a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology

from Yorkville University.

So, where did this all begin? Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by the way our minds work. During my first year at university, I stumbled on a psychology course and it just clicked – this was my path. I've since been driven by a deep-rooted passion for helping individuals discover their inner strength and resilience.

I believe that everyone deserves personalized attention, kindness, and respect—and that includes you.
Because of this philosophy, clients often feel comfortable opening up quickly and sharing personal thoughts and feelings with me. When working together, you'll find that our time is characterized by:

Personal Interests & Closing Note

Outside of the therapy room, I’m happiest when I get to tap into my creative side, spend time in nature, and connect with loved ones. A good song is all I need to feel uplifted and let's be real, I might not be the next Adele, but belting out my favourite songs (sometimes off-key) fills me with joy.

I can't wrap up without mentioning my dog, Gigi. Though she's usually an angel, don't be too surprised if she occasionally pipes up with a little bark or two during our sessions. Gigi's way of saying hello, perhaps?

One last thing that you should know about me is that I have a genuine passion for what I do. I deeply cherish the ability to partner alongside others as they take risks, explore their emotions, and experience transformational shifts in their lives.
